Stowe Trail Race Series 2011

Friends of Stowe Adaptive Sports has joined forces with The Lamoille County 4-H Foundation to present the 2012 Stowe Trail Race Series.

Sunday, July 22 Ranch Camp Ramble 5 & 9K

Stowe Mountain Resort Nordic Center

Sunday, August 19 Town Loops 5K

Golden Eagle Resort

Sunday, September 9 Trapp Cabin 10K plus 5K Fun Run/Walk

Trail Description: Trails are a combination of moderate and technical single and double track

Entry Fee: $20 each race or $25 day of registration; $10 ages 16 and under

Registration: online at www.PreRace.com or mail entry to PO Box 483, Hyde Park, 05655

Race Start: 10:00 am; bib pick up and same day registration 8:30 am

Awards: Food and awards presentation at the finish; prizes for top 3 male and female finishers in open and masters categories

The series highlights each organization’s mission to make sports and recreation available to everyone, with all proceeds going to sustain the mission of both. Stowe Adaptive Sports provides scholarships for individuals living with disabilities in Vermont to allow them to participate fully in winter sports and recreation, provides specialized equipment, and sponsors training for adaptive coaches. The Lamoille County 4-H Foundation supports the youth members and volunteer leaders in Lamoille County.
