2011 Race Results: 10K Trapp Cabin 10K & 5K Fun Run/Walk Sunday, September 9, 2012 10:00 AM Race Start Trapp Family Lodge Race Description: Beginning and ending in the Trapp Family Lodge Meadow, the races wind through 800 vertical feet of idyllic forest, bubbling streams, and wild flowers. The races follow a dirt road briefly before merging with double track cross country trails. The 5K diverts at Old County Road and follows Russel Knoll Trail back to the finish. The 10K continues on to the cabin. These beautiful trails are not accessible to the general public so this is a special opportunity to run in a unique location. Additional Information This is the final race in the Stowe 2012 Trail Race Series. Award presentations will follow the race, with plenty of free refreshments, a race number raffle, and prizes to the top 3 female and male runners in open and masters categories for both the Trapp Cabin 10K and the 5K. Free parking. Restrooms in the Nordic Center open to race participants. Bib pickup begins at 8:30 am.
